Discord - Outer Space and The Starmy

I'm sure everyone knows what Discord is by now - the fabulous chatting website designed for gamers. Of course, I use it too, and it's thanks to Discord and another website that I've made some amazing friends.

A few months ago, I joined a website called FairyABC, a small reboot of the Pixie Hollow online game that Disney used to run. On this site, I started meeting some really fun people. Eventually, I joined the website's Discord, and it was here that The Starmy was born.

Starmy is a group of ten creative friends who have united to bring art, writing, and friendship into the internet. All of us are special and play a vital role in the squad:

Twi, who I consider to be our fearless leader. She is what we all know as the Twilight Sparkle of the group. She's fiercely loyal to her friends and never fails to show her love for us, whether it's through silly teasing or gorgeous fanart.

Pie, who to me is the heart of Starmy. They have frequently stated that they would fight for us no matter who the enemy, constantly showing their selflessness. They're also super sweet and funny and a talented artist.

Angie, who never fails to come in at a random hour wondering why she has 500+ notifications. She's a strong leader for us alongside Twi, and we can always look up to her for good adult advice since she's one of the oldest in the group.

Harmie (aka lanc), the...randomness of the group (hehe). In all seriousness, though, Harmie's childlike antics bring a lot of good spirit to Starmy, and helps keep us smiling.

Ana(aka Ash), the group anchor. She helps us keep out feet planted and our heads high when times are rough on FABC, and shows fierce courage by fighting to keep us safe and happy on FABC.

Karma, the holy artist. She inspires us all with her amazing art and encourages us to always keep trying.

Michal, our local emo with a big heart. He's always there to offer a hug when someone is having a rough time, and is constantly amusing us with random K-Pop related fanboy outbursts.

Juno, another brave fighter for FABC and a fearless friend.

Nora, who I consider to be the Starmy meme queen and master of humor (sorry everyone else but she takes the cake). The newest addition to Starmy, she's a great friend with a lot of tricks (and memes) up her sleeve.

We've all been through a lot together this past summer, from hackers to bizarre updates to adventurous stories. One thing is sure - Starmy is unbreakable. <3

Another special part of Discord for me is my very own server, Outer Space. While small right now, I hope to someday see it as a hub for friendship and communication, a safe space for all. (Link to server on my Contact page).
